I have experience of creative workshop facilitation across a variety of settings, from community arts organisations to museums and schools. My experience includes the following:
Freelance Arts Practitioner, Modern Art Oxford
I have delivered drop-in workshops in Modern Art Oxford’s Creative Space, a participatory learning space adjacent to the galleries. This has included:
- Printmaking workshops (lino and monocut) to accompany the Penny Woolcock exhibition Fantastic Cities.
- Facilitating activities in the Creative Space during the Claudette Johnson I Came to Dance exhibition, including experimenting with drawing in different mediums and a large-scale watercolours workshop for all ages. The event encouraged visitors to draw inspiration from Johnson’s drawings and experiment with a variety of watercolour techniques and mark-making tools.
- Workshops with activities responding to the Kiki Smith: I am a Wanderer exhibition, including paper weaving and origami.
- Facilitating sessions during the Akram Zaatari exhibition, The Script, including collage-making and encouraging visitors to experiment with representation, play and performance using an interactive cinema set.
I have also assisted with various workshops and projects, including:
- Supporting the education team to deliver the “From Storyboard to Screen” workshop, which involved participants experimenting with a storyboard format and various art materials to map their personal journeys to the museum.
- Assisting with the Sites of Curiosity summer project in partnership with Children Heard and Seen. The participants took part in activities inspired by mobile architecture which encouraged play, creative problem solving, collaboration and a variety of 3D making skills.
- Assisting with Make Play, sensory and creative activities for children ages 6 months to 5 years.

Pitt Rivers
I delivered a miniature sculpture-making session using clay and other materials as part of the Beyond the Binary project.

UCL Museums
I have developed and facilitated arts activities for a late night opening, “Animal Instincts”, at the Grant Museum. I led a collaborative “Exquisite Corpse” drawing workshop using the museum’s collections and developed ideas for a tote bag making session inspired by the evening’s theme. I have curated a selection of museum highlights at the UCL Art Museum and given interactive talks for students at the UCL Centre for Languages and International Education.

Arts Workshop Facilitator, Jacari
I have worked with Jacari, a charity delivering free tutoring for children in Oxfordshire. I delivered an arts and crafts workshop for Jacari pupils; the work made during this featured in an arts exhibition and auction at Fusion Arts, which also featured paintings and drawings by professional artists based in London and Oxfordshire. On the evening, I facilitated an additional drop-in art workshop and an origami session for attendees of all ages.

Stop-Motion, Film and Drama Projects, Saint Michael’s College and ‘More than English’
I have devised and facilitated workshops in stop-motion animation, film and theatre for international students at summer schools in Worcestershire. This involved the process of scripting, set design, costume design, developing acting skills, filming and editing. The students developed their English language skills alongside these activities and collaborated to create a final piece. I worked at the summer schools for four years and students used their experiences and the school settings as inspiration for their creative process.
Life Skills Workshop Facilitator, Centrepoint
I have delivered AQA-accredited workshops for Centrepoint in Budgeting, Managing Bill Payments and Cooking and Nutrition.

Workshop Assistant, Rewrite
I have helped to facilitate drama and creative writing workshops for Rewrite, a South London-based arts organisation which aimed to bring people from different backgrounds together through performing arts. I assisted with delivering workshops, as well as doing sound production for a performance called “The Arturo Company” at the Roundhouse Studios. For this production, the participants used the text The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui by Bertolt Brecht as a stimulus to create their own story. I worked with those involved to facilitate the collaborative generation of ideas for the piece and to develop the script.
